I am the maintainer of FreeSewing, an open source platform for made-to-measure sewing patterns. The FreeSewing revenue pledge details how (and why) I spend the raised money, but it boils down to this:

All FreeSewing revenue, including from GitHub sponsors, will be donated to Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Essentially, I use the joy and motivation that comes with your sponsorship to drive the project forward, and I'll use its monetary value to improve the lives of people who need it far more than you and me.
