This is a maintenance release of our LaTeX Technical Report and Thesis Template for Johannes Kepler University Linz.
Major changes since v2.1:
- Added LuaLaTeX support
- Revised cover sheet (to account for formal requirements applicable starting with 2024W)
- You can now use the
legacymode=
package option to switch to formal requirements of older curricula (currently supportsphd2021
for unstructured doctoral programs before 2021W)
- You can now use the
Bug-fixes and improvements:
- Print date in current language format when
\date{YYYY-MM-DD}
is used in technical reports (you can get back the old behavior of taking "YYYY-MM-DD" verbatim by wrapping the value in braces, i.e.\date{{YYYY-MM-DD}}
(fixes #18), thanks @ernstleierzopf for reporting - Improved for math-mode font support
- Hotfix for mathastext with XeLaTeX (fixes #20, which has been resolved in latest upstream version of mathastext)
- Increased default line spread due to popular request (you can change back to the previous setting using
\linespread{1.0}
), thanks @p-hofer for suggestions and tests - Fix broken gender choice for second and third supervisor fields
