@michaelroland michaelroland released this 16 Jan 14:39

This is a maintenance release of our LaTeX Technical Report and Thesis Template for Johannes Kepler University Linz.

Major changes since v2.1:

  • Added LuaLaTeX support
  • Revised cover sheet (to account for formal requirements applicable starting with 2024W)
    • You can now use the legacymode= package option to switch to formal requirements of older curricula (currently supports phd2021 for unstructured doctoral programs before 2021W)

Bug-fixes and improvements:

  • Print date in current language format when \date{YYYY-MM-DD} is used in technical reports (you can get back the old behavior of taking "YYYY-MM-DD" verbatim by wrapping the value in braces, i.e. \date{{YYYY-MM-DD}} (fixes #18), thanks @ernstleierzopf for reporting
  • Improved for math-mode font support
  • Hotfix for mathastext with XeLaTeX (fixes #20, which has been resolved in latest upstream version of mathastext)
  • Increased default line spread due to popular request (you can change back to the previous setting using \linespread{1.0}), thanks @p-hofer for suggestions and tests
  • Fix broken gender choice for second and third supervisor fields
  • Improved documentation
