UsageInstructions
After installing the app to your Android device, upon first start, you should configure the application to connect to your company's Severa account. For this, you will need:
- Username to your account, this is commonly your email address
- Password to this account, given to you by your company's Severa responsible person
- Ability to enable API access to Severa. This is dependent on your company first having a proper subscription to the Severa (guest/demo accounts don't have this feature) and also that your Severa responsible person has enabled API access to you
Once you have these, you should go to Settings page (Asetukset in Finnish).
You need to enter the API key, as generated by Severa, to the text field. This is probably the ugliest part of the application, since you have to Copy&Paste the long string of characters from your browser to the app (Severa, at the moment doesn't support easier way to get the key). Luckily, you will only need to do this once (and probably again when your company updates the new versions of Severa).
Easiest way to do this is to click the link in the configuration page, login to Severa using your mobile browser and navigate the Tools -> Personal -> Severa API and Copy&Paste the key from there.
If there is no key generated, you can generate one by clicking the button on that web page.
How you Copy & Paste the API key from your mobile browser to your Mobisevera app depends on your Android version, but generally once you copy the string (by long-clicking the key or otherwise), you should long-press the home button on your mobile and switch the active application back to Mobisevera. Once you have the API key, first and last names entered, click the "Finish Configuration" button.
This will verify that your account is reachable and will generate the necessary configurations to connect to your account.
After this you are ready to use the main menu to claim hours and query those.
