Turista/The Tourist - Bachelor's thesis focused on Progressive Web Applications

This repository is the source code for the bachelor's thesis: Using progressive web applications for the mountain tourism, by Erik Masný, 2021 at Faculty of electrical engineering and information technology, STU.

The goal of the thesis

Main goal of thesis is to introduce the concept of progressive web apps to Slovak technical comunity, including the practical demonstration, creating PWA focused to the field of mountain tourism.

Technical documentation

Progressive web application is build with several technologies. Laravel framework used as a REST API, Vue.js on the frontend and Workbox powering the PWA.

Turista - Bakalárska práca na tému progresívnych webových aplikácii

Tento repozitár je zdrojovým kódom k bakalárskej práci na tému Využitie progresívnych webových aplikácii v oblasti horksej turistiky, autor Erik Masný, vypracovaná v roku 2021 na fakulte elektrotechniky a informatiky STU BA.

Cieľ práce

Cieľom práce je priblížiť problematiku progresívnych webových aplikácii a základné princípy demonštrovať na ukážkovej aplikácii zameranej na horskú turistiku.

Technická dokumentácia

Aplikácia je postavená na frameworku Laravel, ktorý je využitý ako REST API klient. Na frontend je použitý framework Vue.js a na prácu so service workermi a tvorbu PWA bol využitý nástroj Workbox.
