We should leave this as an open PR for now. It's already served as a reference for several other chains that had the same issue following a chain halt. Ideally I would like to get this same functionality tied into a CLI command when I have more bandwidth so that users can easily address this issue in the future. |

Closing this because we had to implement this same hack into relayer/v2 so there is a newer branch that can be referenced. |
