(Re-doing this issue again so it merges into the main branch farther along, after the fix I made to address the build failure.)

Some example scripts I've been working on throughout the various lessons. The idea is to be able to draw on these for content ideas later, to develop a naturalistic narrative.

Most recently, @peterlaurin and I worked on developing a sample narrative, without worrying about errors to insert, pretending that we are a researcher and creating a persona, research questions, etc. to start building a narrative.

I've stored these scripts in a separate scripts/ folder because currently they aren't, and aren't supposed to be, directly connected to the lesson episodes. I think that by doing this, Github actions won't run them, but I'm actually not sure and it might be worth verifying. So I think that merging this to the main branch shouldn't actually affect any of the episode content.

The narrative script uses data downloaded from the link at the very very bottom of this page where it says "cleaned data". See #16 for why I thought this would be a good idea to include somewhere.

Thank you!

Thank you for your pull request 😃

🤖 This automated message can help you check the rendered files in your submission for clarity. If you have any questions, please feel free to open an issue in {sandpaper}.

If you have files that automatically render output (e.g. R Markdown), then you should check for the following:

  • 🎯 correct output
  • 🖼️ correct figures
  • ❓ new warnings
  • ‼️ new errors

What does this mean?

If you have source files that require output and figures to be generated (e.g. R Markdown), then it is important to make sure the generated figures and output are reproducible.

This output provides a way for you to inspect the output in a diff-friendly manner so that it's easy to see the changes that occur due to new software versions or randomisation.
