As of 2022-07-07 eiCompare was taken off CRAN.

The CRAN error message reports only one testthat failure, which is that

    'merge_surnames' is not an exported object from 'namespace:wru'
    --- failed re-building ‘bisg.Rmd’

which is due to recent changes in wru (kosukeimai/wru#70). @1beb's PR #136 fixes this, but it's not merged in. Would this be sufficient to get back on CRAN?

Hey Shiro, @aridf recently updated so for now recommend using remotes::install_github("RPVote/eiCompare"). I think Loren and Ari plan to submit to CRAN soon.
