(Carbon) Text entered into text inputs (such as when choosing your name for a new alias) is invisible #32

Probably has something to do with the fact that it doesn't use an on-screen keyboard like console does.

I can't confirm this issue. Works fine for me. I hadn't touched anything in regards to this function. I need more info on this and more people to check in on this to confirm anything.

Similar behaviour can be reproduced with FirstControlDevice = 1 (set as controller) and UseDynamicFEngSwitching = 0

UPD: same behaviour can be seen in ProStreet.

OK so it's the object being marked for PC being hidden.

Then it should be a relatively simple fix to do. Just have exempt it from ever being hidden and that's it.

FE keyboard could also be restored technically but I don't think it's a big deal.

Update to my comment: also this can happen when switching between FEngs during creating a new alias - NAME appears where it shouldn't be, but this time without using the above-mentioned settings.

Same thing, I'll just add exceptions for those screens.

osk support would be pretty cool tho

could allow you to just play the game entirely using the gamepad
