Chart View wrong if zoomed in on column with multiple sub-columns #678

To reproduce:

Create a gene expression column with multiple genes
Zoom in to just a few genes
View a distribution of the column

Observe there are 3 blank places for the other genes. It should either not respond to zooming or only show the zoomed genes.
