Until now, my üWave server runs well and I can access to it via HTTP.
Now, I want to secure my server and pass to HTTPS.
I already create a Let's Encrypt certificate.
After an upgrade of my example.com.conf file and a reboot of Apache, I try to access my website via HTTPS and I receive this error:
When I glance at the console, I have these two messages:
socket.js:211 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://example.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but attempted to connect to the insecure WebSocket endpoint 'ws://example.com:6042/'. This request has been blocked; this endpoint must be available over WSS.
socket.js:211 Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Failed to construct 'WebSocket': An insecure WebSocket connection may not be initiated from a page loaded over HTTPS.

For your information, I neither change the configuration of the core nor the configuration of the web client.
What do I need to change to make üWave work when example.com is in HTTPS?
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
By default it should derive the socket URL from the current URL. Eg if you host on https://example.com, it will derive wss://example.com, or if you host on http://something, it will derive ws://something.
