Steps to reproduce

Open folder view, tweak display size settings (I don't recall the exact values as I uninstalled and reverted to the pre-redesign version).

The following screenshots were taken on 2024-10-31.

Expected behavior

Whitespace and behavioural regression, compared to old design, which kept more UI bits out of the way and required less whitespace.

The old view (F21 Pro, 480x640 pixel, fonts and display settings have already been tweaked). Note that six folders are in view at any time:

Actual behavior

• Too much whitespace
• The top email/username section is fixed in place instead of scrolling with the folder list
• things get hilariously bad when the secondary menu is invoked.
