1. Install cypress-eslint-plugin
2. Extend the eslint.config file with a config object for cypress/**/*.cy.* files. Follow this guide: https://github.com/cypress-io/eslint-plugin-cypress
3. You will need to remove the cypress/* ignore entry from the eslint.config file, if it exists
4. You will need to update the tsconfig.json as well, if the package uses typescript (to include the folder cypress)
