What's wrong?

I wanted the rgb to display a different color every time I pressed the key, so I set the "Reactive-Fade" mode through the program "OpenRGB.exe" and it works.
But saddly, when I open the G-Helper program, the function of displaying different colors every time I input disappears. If I don't pass the program "OpenRGB.exe", I can't achieve this effect just by relying on the G-Helper program.

Please tell me how to turn on the "Reactive-Fade" rgb lighting effect in the G-Helper program.

How to reproduce the bug?

  1. config rgb mode with "OpenRGB.exe"
  2. open G-Helper program.

@Verywch hello,

I don't have a single device with per-key-RGB keyboard, so I can't really add any "custom" (i.e. not baked into firmware) modes here. And there is already another issue mentioning this #3482 - so it's a dublicate.

If you want to use OpenRGB however - you absolutely can. G-Helper would set last used RGB mode only on app start, after that it won't interfere.

You can disable setting of last used RGB mode on start as well, by adding to config.json as mentioned in Power User settings
