I found out about this project just recently, and it seems amazing.

I am just starting into this world, and it seems a nice way to start.
I have a few ESP32 laying around...
I also found out very intersting the battery powered solution, described in the main page.
I just bought a battery and a linear regulator as advised, waiting for them to arrive.
But now I am thinking: if there is a 5V (if powered by USB) and 3.3V line in the MCU, we use the regulator to step down from the 3.7V from the battery to the 3.3V to the MCU, how can I ever recharge the battery?
From my research, if my battery already has IC to the cut off part (by the image of the seller it seems), I THINK I only need a 3.7-4.2V to recharge.
It seems it would be impossible to recharge the battery just by pluggin the ESP32 to a USB port.
From my previous experience it is even avoidable plugin the ESP32 with USB power and 3.3pin...
So I would say I would have to recharge the battery, unplugging it?
How to recharge?
I would have to buy some linear regulator adjustable to this voltages?
Those were my toughts...
I asked risinek directly to help me out to this and he replied me this:
you just need something like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005237080994.html (TP4056 based module). I bought the exact same module from a local store and had no problems with it. I haven't wired it permanently, so I have reconnected the battery everytime I needed to recharge it, but I think you can connect it permanently, and put the step-down regulator behind it (between ESP32 3.3V pin and the TP4056 module +- output).
So for now, I share this information so it is available for everyone.
If someone wants to comment on this, please feel free.
