Tokyonight users need your help with highlights

The last piece to make neorg work as my pkm are highlights, some of them work but neither *bold* nor /italic/ does.

I've been reading some issues and articles and it seems the colorscheme is very important, mine is tokyonight and to my surprise it is included as one of those who supports the relevant tree-sitter highlight-groups, along with kanagawa.

And yeah, I know my colorscheme is capable of rendering italic fonts because it does when I do coding (when working with javascript or typescript file for instance), but it doesn't work in norg files (when I use *bold* or /italic/), however if I try kanagawa then the syntax works as expected.

This is my current neorg config

Things that I've tried:

• run manually :Neorg sync-parsers
• disable all other plugins but the one that neorg depends on.
