I used this plugin in the BVE5 Yamanote line made by Tn_E235(with TASC beacon)
I also used the E235 series made by e233_kun, including the D-ATC plugin made by Mi5000, and manually added the autopilot plugin
When only TASC is enabled, the plugin works normally
But when I enabled ATO, the vehicle cannot run and will stop immediately

Then I used the "clearcar" to check the problem. I found that the speed limit read by the plugin is often 0km/h, sometimes to 25km/h, but it can hardly read the normal speed limit (for example, 65km/h in the Tokyo-Yurakucho section)
ATO often travels at a lower speed, I hope this problem can be fixed soon: D

(Sorry for my bad English, I am a user from China and using Google Translate: D)

Hi, thanks for opening the issue.

D-ATC works much differently than other popular signal systems, so I will need to implement a lot of new function to make ATO work with D-ATC. My current knowledge about D-ATC is yet limited. I'll learn how it works and see if I can actually implement it.

Hi, sorry to disturb you again....
When I watched some videos about Tokyo Metro on Youtube recently, I found that the ATO light and TASC light do not light up at the same time. But the ATO light and TASC light in autopilot will light up at the same time in ATO mode. So I think whether you can choose to make the ATO light alone or the ATO light and TASC light on at the same time (for debugging) through an option, I want to make it closer to reality.
Also, thank you very much for replying to my issue

I'm not very interested in replicating the exact behavior of real trains because many trains work differently and there will be conflicts in implementing them in a single program. Sorry for that, but it's no problem that you fork bve-autopilot to modify the behavior as you like.
