[new feature] backref from bibliography to citation

i'm using this excellent template for my phd dissertation and everything works seamlessly for me. thanks a lot for publicly sharing it, krishna!

i'm far from being an expert in latex and cannot calculate how difficult could be such implementation, but i wanted to ask for an extra feature that could embellish even more the template: the backref package to make hyper-references back from bibliography to citation.
more specifically, i'm referring to this documentation.

could anyone tell me if adding this feature is more or less trivial, complex or if it's incompatible with the template?
