Species selection is driven by our common goal to better understand arthropod evolution and phylogeny through studies of species known to be important to worldwide agriculture, food safety, medicine, energy production, models in biology, those species most abundant in world ecosystems, and representatives in every branch of insect phylogeny. Our initiative is broad and inclusive.
