Describe the feature you'd like

There are already many projects that can convert anything to md (example: https://github.com/microsoft/markitdown ), I wish Hoarder had option to store snapshots as .md, as they're just cleaner.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

For all users using Hoarder mainly on my mobile phone, md is a format that displays much nicely. Hell - for standard users - exactly the same!

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

I can convert things manually before hoarding them...

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

What's the exact usecase for this? You are not seeing the markdown, you are seeing rendered content all the time (and markdown doesn't even support the same formatting as html), so where would you expect to see this md?

i don't think it is possible in the mobile app, but I am not using it.
you can't inject your credentials, but you can create the archive with another extension and upload it to hoarder. (experimental, but more information can be found in #172)
