Data and code relative to the Selci et al. 2025 manuscript on the origin and fate of methane in the Central American convergent margin. The amplicon sequencing data is available from the NCBI SRA archive under accession number PRJNA579365, while the shotgun metagenomes are deposited under project number PRJNA627197.

This repository contains the following files:

  • README.md (this readme file)
  • Selci_methane_code.ipynb cotaining the code to reproduce the analysis in R
  • Selci_methane_env_dataset.cvs containing the metadata and non-sequencing data
