Anyway to make this work on both monitors? Not only on the main one

I have no idea. I'm not the original developer of the plugin, I just forked it to modernize & fix it. Also I only have a bar on one monitor personally.

I don't have an understanding of the GNOME APIs to know what's possible. If you'd like to research what's possible, PRs welcome.
