Problems with lazily loading rstacruz/vim-closer and tpope/vim-endwise

Hello everyone; and @folke, thank you so much for yet another amazing plugin.

Coming from wbthomason/packer.nvim, I tried migrating my setup with ~25 plugins to folke/lazy.nvim; there’s probably quite some improvement to be made with my LSP setup via VonHeikemen/lsp-zero.nvim, but that’s for another discussion.

I’m calling require("lazy").setup("config.plugin", { … }) from lua/config/lazy.lua; and in that file, I’m trying to lazily load all plugins that don’t need any config()/setup().

Here’s an excerpt from lua/config/plugin/init.lua:

As far as I can tell, the latter four plugins load successfully with event = "VeryLazy"; for rstacruz/vim-closer and tpope/vim-endwise, I cannot get any lazy loading to work with event = "VeryLazy", event = "VimEnter", or event = "VimEnter", and I’m not really sure what the problem might be.

Those are very simple plugins and should definitely work. What do you mean eactly when you say it doesn't work?

Please report an issue with a proper minimal init.lua (it's in the issue template)

Sorry for not beign clear on this. They don’t do what they should be doing, which is when hitting the enter key after typing, for example, function() {, they (the plugin, if successfully loaded and therefore working) should be inserting the closing } and a closing end, but they don’t; removing the , event = "…" option (as shown above), said things happen and the plugins work.

Please report an issue with a proper minimal init.lua (it's in the issue template)

Also, your files paths are wrong. You mean excerpt from lua/config/plugin.lua? And not lua/config/lazy.lua? And plugin without an s at the end?

Whoops, sorry, I meant lua/config/plugin/init.lua; edited my initial post.
