Deleting Asset After Contract Negotiation

Assume I have a connector c1 and I create Asset1, Policy1 and Contract1(Asset1,Policy1).

• I am able to delete all elements when I start with Contract1
• I cannot delete Policy1 before I delete Contract1 (OK)
• I can deletet Asset1 before I delete Contract1 (Not OK?)

Assume I negotiate the contractagreement CE1 from connector c2 with connector c1

• After Negotiation finalized I am able to delete Contract1, Policy1 BUT NOT Asset1 on c1 (Is that intentional?)

Assume I create Asset1, Policy1 and Contract1(Asset1,Policy1) on c1 but now I delete only Asset1

• I am still able to negotiate Contract1 from c2 even though no Asset1 exist anymore (Intentional)?

This seems not intuitive to me and would lead to the fact that artefacts pile up or cannot be removed. I basically like to understand whether this is intentional or if these are bugs.

Well if you cannot delete an Asset once you have negotiated a contract, you can still get into that state when you delete the asset of a contract definition before you negotiate. Can't you? So why can you delete an Asset of a contract definition? That would allow the state you try to prevent when blocking asset deletion after you have negotiated a contract. I am not sure if I understand the logic

Contract definitions do not have a 1:1 relationship with assets. They are loosely coupled. Contract definitions are also distinct from Contract Agreements. This is described in the documentation.
