I'm not sure this is necessarily a bug as I might be default DK behavior, but rather I am raising it as something we could rethink. Currently if you change a slab with decorations on it into lava, whether that is via change_slab or by lava trap, the object will be destroyed and turn into a cloud of gas.
Does it... make sense for a wooden barrel, a stone statue, or a floating wooden torch to turn into gas? Is it not enough to simply falls into the lava and disappear?
This applies to every decorative object except the six types of rock, the mushrooms and the lantern; The latter two of which float and the rocks simply vanish.
