It looks as though the capacitor you've specified is unpolarised. Would it possible to use a polarised capacitor of the same specification in it's place? And if so which polarity?

I have it orientated as + on the left side. I've no idea if the circuit will only ever apply voltage in that polarity but it seems to work.
