[CRITICAL VIOLATION] Pojav-Glow-Worm violates LTW license #319
Comments
你在和我开玩笑? |
我可以很明确的知道你并没有去查看过这个issues: PojavLauncherTeam/PojavLauncher#6158 |
I do what I'm told to do, sorry |
I want to know who put you up to this. Is this really what you want to do? |
I want to know where |
This comes from direct statements of the team. I thought the public was more informed on this topic, but I guess this is where I have mistaken. I probably could provide message links
My job was to leave the issue, I mean no harm to anyone |
"I mean no harm to anyone" |
While I wouldn't support anyone going against the Glow Worm project, and I also don't support many of the things ArtDev has done, I would like to state for the record that all the work done for LTW was done by the Pojav team and the QuestCraft team with no support from any other dev teams (outside of MIT modules). The project is built from scratch by us and it's quite disingenuous to say that we are "increasing your work load" when we have in fact done nothing that effects you, outside of course making a renderer that would create more competition against the Glow Worm project, outside of that we haven't made you do anything or harmed you. I understand being upset that you can't use our library, however it's much better that you take that energy and put it towards making something to compete with it instead of complaining that we aren't letting you use entirely our work against us while giving nothing back in return. You wouldn't say a restaurant opening next to yours is an attack on you, why treat this as such? |
如果这能被称之为竞争,我可以很明确的告诉你我们从来都没有想过与原项目(PojavLauncher)竞争, |
It'd probably be right, if I clarified that I don't have anything personal against any if the projects where the notices regarding LTW were created. This is in no way a personal attack
This is not disguised to hurt you. I'd hate if the project just disappeared, this is the reason for leaving this notice |
It's been removed |
wow, crazy |
Description
Since the e107abc commit you added the Tinywrapper renderer from the PojavLauncher@QuestCraft project to your launcher. This action directly violates the LTW license: Tinywrapper is published under the Polyform Shield license, which protects the LTW renderer code from being stolen without the direct permission of its authors.
Suggested solution
The only right thing you are allowed to do is to revert this commit and remove all the code related to LTW from the PGW Launcher until you have the direct permission to use it in your project.
