Custom list of courses

This is open for reflection but the idea is that there are tones of died courses that are still on our instance for example but are not used anymore. We keep them for several reasons and the idea is not to delete them.

Still with those amount of courses, administrators have trouble to find a course efficiently. A revision of the list of course is thus a good way to improve those researches.

We thought to some possibilities that could improve this:

1. Add a search bar that filter courses with some JQuery
2. Add a mechanism to highlight courses your recently visit (based on traffic - store data about that).
3. ...

Any idea is welcome. Maybe someone already had experience this and have a good way to do that.
