Would it be possible to add high resolution thermal vision?

Comparing Splinter Cell 1 & 2, Pandora Tomorrow seems to have the same Problem like with night vision.

In case it's possible and you eventually like to work on this, maybe it would be possible to change grain resolution too (so you can choose between e.g. 480p, 540p, 576p, 720p or whatever is individually prefered), at 4k grain is hardly visible and both night and thermal vision feel a bit empty.
