Current behaviour/situation
The 4 mounting points on the pinch valve base are interfering with the equipment bracket and force the pinch valve to be placed trasnposed away from the edge. This is so because they are below and above (as viewed face-on) the main body of the base.
Expected state/behaviour
Mounting points would be better off to the sides (as viewed face-on), because the tube will still run along that axis and there are unlikely to be other components there to interfere with.
How do you know it is wrong
Modeling of the pneumatics assembly has revealed this problem. As seen here, the pinch valve might be placed lower on the y axis if not for the mounting points.
