Hi, trying to work out some issues with my current setup. I have an Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, which for FanControl has two sets of fans - the "Front" fan and the "Middle and Back" fans.

I've set up a curve based on my GPU's temperature for my case fans and GPU fans. The case fans work fine, in sycn with each other and following the curve. The GPU fans, however, don't. A decent amount of the time they're at 0% until they kick in, at which point the "Middle and Back" fans follow the curve while the "Front" fan jumps higher, usually about 5-10% higher. This'll continue until they decide to cut out. Sometimes the "Front" one wil kick in, going from 0 to 45%, while the others on the same GPU will just stay at 0.

Am I misunderstanding something about the software, the GPU, or something else? How can I get them to line up with the case fans? Or is this something I shouldn't be worried about - I should let the GPU do it's own thing and not force it through FanControl?

Thanks for any advice.

Fan Issues

Attached is an image showing this exact problem - one fan has randomly turned on higher than the others, and the other just isnt spinning.

Expand both the Nvidia control cards so we can see the settings you got applied.

Also read the nvidia section here: https://getfancontrol.com/docs/

Fans 2

Having looked at this I belive this is the issue, they have different starting thresholds. I dont know why, to my knowledge I havent changed these manually.

Is it recommended to have them identical to my case fans, or to have the GPU fans at different settings?

These were set with the assisted setup wizard, which test the 0-100% range of each fan and those % were detected this way. May test these manually to get more accurate values, but otherwise leave them this way and play around those values.
