• we need to add information in the Dbxref attribute to the unmapped_features.txt file. Specifically, the TCAS identifiers.
• We should make the TCAS identifiers searchable in Jbrowse. Currently you have to add a prefix before the identifier. @mpoelchau should do the following...
  • Add TCAS identifier as an Alias attribute to the mRNA features
  • Also add what's in the protein_id attribute at the CDS level to the mRNA level as Dbxref (GenBank) and Alias
  • would need to re-run flat file to json and re-index the names
  • I've noticed that the OGS3 at ibeetlebase and the OGS at NCBI have different metadata (specifically, not all of the models in the latter have TCAS identifiers). I will need to ask which one is better to use.
