i have strange issue

Hello, thanks for the program, I'm from Russia, but I have a problem when I choose one of the American servers, almost any of the 4, I get to players from Thailand, Tokyo and China, but I don't get to the American servers, why is this happening? Can I fix this somehow?

I have looked into this but it seems to only work specifically with epic games and possibly on microsoft version of the game.

Steam seems to have its own DNS resolver

This works with the Steam version as well. Just don't pick any server that is disabled by the developer (e.g. London, or Ohio).

Choosing those will put you on a "fake" region with others using this trick (mostly Chinese and Japanese players it seems) and you end up on North Virginia servers after a substantial wait time.

For NA East: Only North Virginia as region actually puts you on those servers.
For "London": DbD uses Dublin and never London

if you activate Tokio for example sends you to ap-east-1 Hong Kong, which i think might be a new region
