In Windows this can be achieved like this:
Get-FileHash -path C:\Users\lgmu\test.txt -algorithm md5
Then you can simply compare the checksum. So in SNClient check_files it could look like this:
check_files "path=<PATH>" "critical=md5_checksum != <CHECKSUM>
Would be nice if it also supports SHA1 SHA256 SHA384 SHA512 (if possible)
